Lost Ark Weekly Reset and Update Time Changes

With the latest Lost Ark update released on 30th June 2022, entitled Wrath of the Covetous Legion, there's a tonne of content to enjoy, from the new Vykas Legion raid to updates to endgame progression, and much more. Alongside the update, developer Smilegate has also changed the Lost Ark weekly reset and update timings.

In this article, we outline the important information heroes of Arkesia should know surrounding the new timings for Lost Ark's weekly resets and updates, so players know when the cutoff time is to complete certain tasks each week.

Lost Ark weekly reset & update timings

As most Lost Ark players should know, weekly reset and update timings are important. This is due to the simple fact that some content reset on a weekly basis, including the brand new Vykas challenge raid.

As a small portion of the massive Lost Ark Wrath of the Covetous Legion patch notes, the developers have made quite a big change to the Lost Ark weekly reset and update timings.

In short, players will have six (6) days instead of seven (7) to complete content that reset on a weekly basis.

This change comes into effect on Wednesday, 6th July 2022, when the weekly reset and update will come into effect, instead of on Thursday, 7th July 2022.

The developer explains this big Lost Ark weekly reset and update timings change, stating: "Starting next week, weekly updates and resets will be shifted to occur one day earlier. Next week’s update and reset will take place on Wednesday, July 6 instead of Thursday, July 7.

"Please keep this in mind as you work to challenge Vykas and complete other content that resets on a weekly basis - as you’ll only have 6 days instead of 7! We’re making this change to ensure that our teams at Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG have time before the weekend to work on addressing any potential issues that could arrive in an update."
