Original Story Follows - Indie publisher tinyBuild recently announced its upcoming asymmetric 6v2 horror game, Level Zero, which will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. The game, which pits four scientists against two horrifying monsters, will be released in closed beta on PC before it is released for everyone to play on all platforms. If you want to get in on the closed beta of this upcoming release, you'll need to sign up now. Level Zero Release Delayed
Before we get to telling you how to sign up for the Level Zero closed beta its important to first understand that the game has been delayed to 2024. An update from the developers on October 12 told fans:
"We've been closely monitoring your growing enthusiasm for our game, and we're genuinely flattered by the attention it's receiving. With that said, we're thrilled to announce that we're taking Level Zero to the next level beyond our original plans. To be completely transparent, refining this enhanced version of Level Zero is taking a notable amount of time. As a result, we've made the decision to shift the game's expected release from this year to 2024. This extra time allows our team to elevate the game by introducing additional features, and you'll soon receive all the exciting details. We assure you that your patience will be rewarded. In the meantime, we won't leave you hanging. We'll keep you engaged with occasional playtests. If you're eager to get involved and assist us in shaping the game, we invite you to join our official Discord server."
How To Sign Up For Level Zero Beta
It is easy to sign up for the Level Zero closed beta. There are no prerequisites; absolutely anyone can sign up for the beta.
To sign up for the Level Zero closed beta, you will just need to complete a few simple steps:
- Head to the Level Zero Closed Beta website.
- Enter your email.
- Complete the reCAPTCHA verification.
- Click subscribe.
- After subscribing, you will receive a confirmation email. You will need to click the link in the email to confirm your subscription to the Level Zero closed beta.
Once you've signed up and clicked the link you will receive in your email, there's nothing else you need to do for the time being. You'll just need to wait until developers send out more information about the beta in the next few months.
When Will Level Zero Beta Go Live?
16 October 2023 Update - As with the previous update explained further up the page, the game has been delayed to 2024, so it seems unlikely we'll see a closed beta anytime soon.
The completed Level Zero game will be released on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation sometime in 2023. Though an exact release date for Level Zero has yet to be announced, the closed beta will be released sometime before the main game officially releases in 2023.
As such, we can expect Level Zero's closed beta to release sometime in early-to-mid 2023.
