Fortnite and LEGO have already come together to offer players a lot to sink their teeth into, whether that be LEGO Fortnite or physical Fortnite-inspired LEGO sets. So far all of this new content has been a hit, and neither the LEGO Group or Fortnite are showing any signs of slowing down.
In fact, today, the LEGO Group announced that it would be expanding on its range of games by launching more LEGO Islands within Fortnite. Two new Islands will be hitting the game: LEGO Chasers Vs Hunters and LEGO Monster Fishing.
LEGO Chasers Vs Hunters
In LEGO Chasers Vs Hunters, players are divided into two teams tasked with taking control of the dream world from the LEGO DREAMZzz universe. Split into eaither Team Dream Chasers or Team Nightmare Hunters, you'll have LEGO weapons to use at your disposal to shoot opponents and gain dream sand.
Dream sand is then used to craft bigger and better weapons, all to take full control of the dream world.
LEGO Monster Fishing
LEGO Monster Fishing will send players out into the waters, where something lurks beneath the surface. Collect fish and escape back to shore in time to sell your catches. You'll need to upgrade your village in order to protect is from what awaits under the ice.
These two new Fortnite Islands aren't all that LEGO are bringing to the table. For the more creatively-inclined, the LEGO Group and Epic Games have also revealed the ‘Scary Space’ template and gallery update, which allows users to publish their own LEGO Islands using LEGO elements, LEGO Styles and other LEGO assets available in Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) and Fortnite Creative.
