As an ARPG, Last Epoch has evolved from humble beginnings to a true contender for the throne. After five years in Early Access and a plethora of improvements/updates, it is clear that developer Eleventh Hour Games knows what they are doing. That's why we are so excited about the road ahead and looking forward to the content schedule for Last Epoch in 2024 following its launch.

Last Epoch 2024 Roadmap: Content Schedule

Last Epoch has a big, bright future ahead of it as an exciting new ARPG. The 1.0 release as the game moves out of Early Access on 21 February 2024, with a host of additions in terms of content, quality-of-life changes, and more.

Developer Eleventh Hour Games noted that Last Epoch version 1.0 is just the beginning and gave us a little tease of what's to come in their content plan:

Beyond 1.0, Eleventh Hour Games will bring substantial new content to Last Epoch every few months in what we call “Cycles.” These releases will contain additions and refinements to many aspects of the game, such as end-game content, skills, unique items, gameplay systems, quality-of-life features, etc.

Please note:The developers should share an official Last Epoch content roadmap and schedule some time in late February or early March following the game's official launch out of Early Access. We will update this article swiftly when they do!

With the disclaimer out of the way, we do have a rough idea of when we will see Last Epoch content drops due to the developer's comment on Cycles.

When is the Next Last Epoch Cycle?

Update 1.0 marks the first Cycle in Last Epoch. Think of Cycles as "Seasons." We know that Cycles will last three to four months and usher in new content, such as endgame activities and items, improvements/adjustments to gameplay, and so forth.

Last Epoch's second Cycle should be released between May and June 2024, ushering in this new content. 

We'll update you as soon as we have exact dates upcoming Cycles in Last Epoch.
