Should You Pull Lynx In Honkai Star Rail 1.3?

Lynx is an upcoming four-star Quantum character that will likely be arriving in Honkai Star Rail 1.3. Lynx will be the fourth dedicated healer to enter Honkai Star Rail after Natasha, Bailu, and Luocha. Lynx has an impressive kit, according to leaks and rumors, and seems to fill a similar role as Natasha but better. Being able to heal and cleanse the entire party, Lynx is definitely a unit to consider pulling for. 

However, before you start pulling for Lynx, you may want to consider a few factors that might sway your decision either way. That's where we come in. This article will cover the main things to consider before you pull for Lynx in Honkai Star Rail 1.3.

Should You Pull Lynx In Honkai Star Rail 1.3?

You should pull for Lynx in Honkai Star Rail if your account needs a dedicated secondary healer. For the most challenging content in the game, Memory of Chaos, players will need at least two healers to stand a chance (unless you have incredible Relics, of course). Each player will be able to acquire Natasha for free. However, if you have yet to summon Bailu and chose to skip Luocha, Lynx is a great unit to pick up. 

That being said, here are a few things to consider before you pull for Lynx, which might help you make a decision more easily. 

It Is Easier To Get Lynx At Higher Eidolon Levels

Because Lynx is a four-star character, it is far easier to max their Eidolon levels. Four-star units have higher summoning rates than five-stars and therefore, it will be easier (in theory) to acquire multiple copies of Lynx. 

Lynx Is Paired Alongside Fu Xuan

If the leaks are to be trusted, Lynx will likely be paired on a banner alongside Fu Xuan. Fu Xuan is also a great Preservation Path character with a unique kit that players should consider pulling for. This banner has lots of opportunities to reward those pulling on it. 

Lynx Is Required For A Mono-Quantum Team

At the time of writing this, Lynx is the final piece required for the Mono-Quantum team (sorry, Qingque). Seele, Lynx, Silver Wolf, and Fu Xuan are a team that can be brought anywhere, and Lynx is a great asset to this team as a healer. 

There Is No Guarantee For Four-Star Characters

The only reason not to pull for Lynx is that there is no guarantee for four-star characters. Unlike five-star characters, which are guaranteed after 90 pulls, four-star characters have no such pity. Additionally, because four-star characters often share a rate-up, it is possible to summon the other two four-stars multiple times without ever acquiring a copy of Lynx.
