From huge boss battles in the main story to challenging Elite enemies in the Simulated Universe, the chances are that your characters are going to take some hits along the way. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways to keep your allies topped up and healthy in the game.

While Honkai Star Rail has a lot of the traditional turn-based RPG mechanics, healing in the middle of a battle using items is not a feature present in this game. How To Heal Characters In Honkai Star Rail

There are several ways to heal characters in Honkai Star Rail, but the quickest and easiest way is to teleport to any Space Anchor. Space Anchors in Honkai Star Rail hold Anchor Energy. This Anchor Energy can be used by standing near a Space Anchor to not only fully heal your team but revive any downed party members to full HP as well.

It should be noted that once used, Anchor Energy will need to recharge, and this cooldown will take some time. Players have the option to toggle the Anchro Energy distribution on or off if they want to save the charge for later.  Here are some other ways to heal characters in Honkai Star Rail. 

Abundance Characters

Abundance characters are the healers of Honkai Star Rail. Their job is to keep your team alive in combat by restoring HP. It is recommended to always bring at least one Abundance character to any piece of challenging content in Honkai Star Rail in order to weather the storm of powerful enemy attacks. 

Techniques

Some techniques outside of combat can restore a small amount of HP. The Traiblaze has a Technique known as Immortal Third Strike, which, when used, will heal the party by a small amount. 

Consumables

Consumables are items that players can feed to their team outside of combat. These items will restore differing amounts of HP and can be thought of as similar to Potions in games like Pokémon (except they cannot be used in battle). Consumables can be acquired in the overworld, from quest rewards, or created using the corresponding Recipes. 

Destructible Objects

While traveling through the overworld or the Simulated Universe, some destructible objects will restore either HP or Technique Points when attacked.
