How Evil Can You Become In Hogwarts Legacy?
According to the game's official FAQ, players will "grow their character's abilities by mastering powerful spells, brewing potions, and harvesting magical plants as they face off against deadly enemies. Players will also encounter missions and scenarios that will pose difficult choices and determine what they stand for." In this regard, while the game's main premise will be to fight against evil forces, making the right (or, rather, the wrong) choices could alter your character's progression.
That said, it's not possible to be evil in Hogwarts Legacy, per se. Still, you can make poor decisions, like choosing rude dialog options to guide your character down the more obnoxious path. It is worth noting that you will be able to use Unforgivable Curses in Hogwarts Legacy by befriending and engaging in Sebastian Sallow's quest line.
However, you won't be able to cast these spells on your fellow students or any of the Hogwarts professors (sorry). On the bright side, since there's no morality system in Hogwarts Legacy, you can pretty much be as bad or evil as the game allows without penalty.
That's everything you need to know about embracing the dark side of Hogwarts Legacy. Now that you know how evil you can be in the game, you might want some help deciding which house you should pick. Check out our video exploring each of the four Hogwarts houses below.
