Halo infinite - "Unable to connect to Server" Error Fix

A common error message that players receive in Halo Infinite doesn’t allow them to connect to a server.
Halo infinite - "Unable to connect to Server" Error Fix

Halo Infinite has seen its fair share of bugs and errors since releasing in early December. However, there haven’t been too many lingering issues, as developer 343 Industries has been fairly fast to squash any problems. That doesn’t apply to a common error message that players have been seeing since launch, though.

The error involves players not being able to connect to a Halo Infinite server. This can sometimes keep players from accessing multiplayer for days on end, and many of them want a solution to their problem. While there are no surefire ways to fix the “Unable to connect to the servers” error message, players can try some of the steps below to fix their problem in Halo Infinite.

Connecting to the server fix in Halo Infinite

The first fix that players want to try is simply restarting their game. This can be done by closing the application and then re-opening it on whatever platform you’re on. You can also go a step further by restarting your entire system, whether it be an Xbox or PC. This solution usually works for players, as a restart to the system or game refreshes everything that could have been interrupting your connection to the servers.

Of course, this hasn’t worked for every player. If you fall into this crowd, you can try to reset your modem/router. This will restart your Internet connection, which could be the reason you’re unable to connect to the Halo Infinite servers. To do this, you need to unplug your modem/router from its power source for around 10-20 seconds. This will power cycle it and allow it to restart fresh.

The final step that you can attempt to take is reinstalling Halo Infinite entirely. This is a last-ditch measure, as reinstalling a game takes time. And if your Internet download speed is slow, this could take a longer time than you want. However, this has fixed the problem for some players and is a step you need to take if you’ve tried everything else on this list.

If you’ve done all of these steps, then you can see if the global servers are down for Halo Infinite. You can check the game’s official support Twitter account for updates and also contact their support team through this account as well.

With enough luck, one of these steps will allow you to get back online in Halo Infinite.
