The Act of Genesis is a Legendary stance that players can unlock through Halo Infinite’s campaign. However, it’s a lot easier said than done as players are left perplexed at not being able to be rewarded with the stance.
Dedicated Halo players looking for the Act of Genesis stance in Halo Infinite’s campaign have spent hours searching for answers on the internet but to no avail. While there may not be that many answers to help understand why this stance is temporarily unavailable, it’s worth noting that the cosmetic item does exist in Halo Infinite.
How to unlock the Act of Genesis stance?
As of writing, the Act of Genesis is intended to be unlocked through Halo Infinite’s campaign offering. This Legendary Stance, reminiscent of Master Chief’s stance from the Halo 5: Guardians cover, it’s one of the many campaign rewards that can be crossed over to the game’s multiplayer mode.
Earlier, the speculation was that this Legendary stance could be unlocked by completing the entirety of the campaign on the Legendary difficulty. Not only will this unlock the Act of Genesis stance but the Requiem Revengeance stance too.
However, many players have noted that neither stance has been unlocked despite completing the campaign on Legendary. Some have mentioned that they have found all the Armor lockers, collected all the skulls, artifacts and Audio Logs, plus obtained every Achievement for the campaign.
Have 343 Industries responded yet?
Despite players’ best efforts, the Act of Genesis stance remains locked, and now, are seeking answers from 343 Industries. Many have taken to Reddit as well as the official Halo Waypoint forum to express their frustrations over the inability of unlocking the stance.
It’s worth noting that Halo Community Director, Brian Jarrard had commented on a recent Halo bug that caused campaign cosmetics to disappear for those playing offline. As such, these missing cosmetics wouldn’t be able to feature in their multiplayer inventory for offline players.
While a workaround solution was recommended, many players are still perplexed that the developer has yet to comment on how players can finally unlock the Act of Genesis and Requiem Revengeance stances.
We do know that a service update is planned for Halo Infinite this week, aimed at resolving the game’s multiplayer. This service update may not give many campaign players hope at resolving issues plaguing the campaign; it’s worth keeping an eye on when the update arrives on 14th December 2021.
