GTA Online Metal Detector Locations and How To Use

In GTA Online, there are so many different ways you can play the game. From doing missions to hunting LD Organics bags scattered across the map, the game is filled with content.

If you are not busy hunting down UFOs, you could be hunting down buried treasure in the game as well. Here, we are going to go over where you can find the metal detector so you can continue to hunt for more treasures

How To Find The Metal Detector In GTA Online

As part of The Criminal Enterprises update, a new treasure hunt is available for you to try out. This is called the Buried Stashes treasure hunt. In this event, you will find a skeleton in beach clothing and the skeleton has both a metal detector and a map alongside it.

This is a random event, so if you want to participate in this particular treasure hunt, you will have to find the skeleton first. There are 10 random locations where you can end up finding the skeleton in GTA Online. Here are the locations where you can end up finding the skeleton:

• Pacific Bluffs beachfront before the houses.
• Del Perro Beach at the canal inlet
• La Puerta in the storm drain
• West coast of LSIA
• Port of Los Santos at Elysian Island
• Banning at the storm drain
• Rancho at the west bank of LS River
• South of El Burro Boulevard on the south coast
• East coast of Palomino Highlands
• On the beach at the exit of NOOSE Headquarters

The skeleton will appear once randomly at one of these 10 locations. So if you want to find the skeleton faster, we suggest you use a helicopter to find the skeleton so you can get started hunting for treasure.

How To Use The Metal Detector In GTA Online

The obvious answer is you use the metal detector to find buried treasure. However, if you are asking where you can find the buried treasure, then the answer is pretty simple.

You will need to head to Cayo Perico to use the metal detector. There, you will randomly find two different treasure stashes every day on the island. The reward will get you some money and RP as well.
