The GTA Online Chop Shop DLC introduced a new way to upgrade your cars with the addition of Drift Tuning modifications. It's sort of similar to Imani Tech, with players able to upgrade specific cards with these new upgrades. We imagine that more cars will be able to make use of these upgrades in the future, but for the time being, there's only a handful of cars capable of equipping drift tuning modifications. Here's everything you need to know, including which cars can be upgraded.
How To Add Drift Tuning To Cars In GTA Online
Players need to head to the LS Car Meet to add drift tuning to vehicles. Once inside you can see the list of vehicles that have access to the new Drift Tuning Modification on the laptop by 'Hao's Special Works' in the car meet. Interact with the laptop and you'll be given the option to add drift tuning to several select vehicles (assuming you own them).
Where you don't own the vehicle, players will be given a prompt of what business they can purchase the vehicle from (either Legendary Motorsport or Southern San Andreas).
How Much Does Drift Tuning Cost?
Drift-tuning modifications will cost players $200,000 per car. If you decide you don’t like the way your car handles, you can remove drift-turning modifications for a cost of $50,000.
