Genshin Impact Kazuha - Talent Priority and Best Team Composition

Genshin Impact patch 2.8 debuted on 13th July 2022, along with Kaedahara Kazuha’s banner. Across every Anemo character known at present, Kazuha is a powerhouse of a Support and Sub-DPS (damage-per-second) to utilize across team compositions.

Genshin Impact 2.8 - What Are The Best Talents For Kazuha?

Travelers who don’t already know by now, Kazuha’s a five-star Anemo character with abilities toppling even the biggest Hilichurls out there. However, there are only three Talents that Travelers can enhance: Kazuha’s Normal Attack, Elemental Ability, and Elemental Burst.

The only significant difference between all three Talents is that Kazuha rarely relies on his Normal Attack. Instead, he brings all the power to teams through his Elemental Ability and Burst. Still, the character’s main signature feature is his Elemental Ability allowing Kazuha to suck in enemies, jump upward, and smash down on them with the force of the wind and the damage of a Plunging Attack.

Across various team compositions, Kazuha’s Elemental Ability Talent is the most widely used skill considering the lower cooldown rate and the quick action and application of Swirl to enemies. Travelers can, of course, upgrade his Elemental Burst since it does tons of damage. But ultimately, his Ability takes the Crown literally because it sets up the entire team's Elemental Burst combo.

The primary goal with Kazuha, especially as a Sub-DPS or Support, is essentially bringing all the enemies into one spot and disorientating them.

If equipped with his perfect four-piece Artifact set, Viridescent Venerer, Kazuha can peel their Elemental Resistance and upgrade his Anemo Damage while applying Swirl and amplifying the Elemental Bursts of other characters when swapping over. So it’s important to prioritize enhancing his Ability Talent first, then his Burst. 

Genshin Impact 2.8 - What Is The Best Team Composition For Kazuha?

As said, it’s all about getting enemies in position while you bombard them with absolute devastating power. Because Kazuha primarily focuses on one-hit Elemental Burst wonders, choosing characters with quick-casting skills makes for flashier stage completions and massive critical damage output.

So, naturally speaking, Travelers particularly want to center Kazuha around Raiden Shogun, Hutao, Childe, or Ayaka.

Additionally, Travelers should give the Sub-DPS role to Xiangling, Mona, Kaeya, or any other rapid-swap character who deals damage even after switching over.

For the final Support character, Travelers can choose between Bennet, Xingqui, Kokomi, or anything similar. However, Kazuha’s absolute best party includes him as a sub-DPS, with Hutao or Raiden Shogun (preferably C2 Baal) as the main DPS, Bennet, and Xingqui as Support.
