miHoYo has officially revealed their roadmap for Phase II of Genshin Impact 2.0 update, with some of its biggest features arriving in just a few days, including the debut of two Inazuman characters into the game, lots of events charged with tons of rewards, and a new limited-time banner with exclusive weapons.
Let’s take a look at everything that awaits you in the second part of the latest Genshin update, as the arrival of the Raiden Shogun and the next chapter into Inazuma’s story gets closer than ever, now that we are in the middle of the road before the 2.1 patch.
Tapestry of Golden Flames - Yoimiya and Sayu arrive in Teyvat
The next banner focused on the Inazuma region will bring both “Frolicking Flames” Yoimiya and the "Mujina Ninja" Sayu into the game as part of this brand new Event Wish, powerful options for your party if you are looking for a new Pyro DPS unit or a really helpful Support with healing and offensive abilities.
This banner will also have a huge drop-rate boost for Diona (Cryo) and Xinyan (Pyro), two characters that will complement really well if you have enough luck to get either of the debutant characters.
Epitome Invocation - A new weapon from the Inazuma Series
As part of Yoimiya’s debut, one of the best weapons for her will be available as well into the game, being none other than the Thundering Pulse bow, featured along with the Skyward Blade, an excellent sword capable of improving your attack stats and mobility in combat.
This banner will arrive with a fantastic drop boost for many powerful weapons, including:
- Sacrificial Sword (Sword)
- Sacrificial Fragments (Catalyst)
- Favonius Warbow (Bow)
- Rainslasher (Claymore)
- Dragon's Bane (Polearm)
Remember that with the arrival of update 2.0, miHoYo introduced the Epitomized Path, a new banner mechanic to get any of the 5-star weapons easier in Genshin Impact based on how many pulls you make and which weapon you are looking to get.
All featured events coming in Genshin Impact 2.0 Phase II
While we talked about some of these during our update 2.0 overview at the start of July, miHoYo has shared more intel about how these events will go inside the game, as players will have to be ready to play for more rewards, and most importantly, Primogems.
Lost Riches
The "Lost Riches" event is currently underway; however, its event period extends up to the middle of Phase II. In this event, Travelers have to partner with the Treasure-seeking Seelie in order to look out for an exclusive treasure that can be exchanged for one of the previously released commemorative Seelie gadgets.
To be eligible for this event, you will have to have at least an Adventure Rank 30 or above and completed the Archon Quest “Ritou Escape Plan” from Chapter II, Act I “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get your hands on one of these little friends, along with some Primogems, Hero’s Wit, and more, before the event expires on 16th August, 2021.
Theater Mechanicus: Stage of Wonders
After its introduction during the Lantern Rite of Liyue, the Theater Mechanicus will be back again along with some modifications to its gameplay, bringing a new challenge for those who already tried it. As with the previous one, you will have to be at least Adventure Rank 30 or above and have completed the Archon Quest “Ritou Escape Plan” to be eligible.
During the event, players will need to take part in the Theater Mechanicus Stages and complete various event missions to gain Wondrous Talismans, exchangeable for many prizes in the Event Shop such as Primogems, and to get the event-exclusive “Celebration: Wondrous Calculation” namecard.

Phantom Flow
Here, players will have to complete different challenges and quests around Inazuma to get rewards. Some of these will be easier, while some others will be quite a headache.
This time, Shousen, the master of Inazuma’s Shinryuu, will offer to help you initiate an imaginary, no-holds-barred tournament with a chance to win lots of rewards on these battles.
To participate in it, you have to be at least Adventure Rank 30 or above, have completed the Archon Quest “Ritou Escape Plan”, and the World Quest “Chisato’s Letter”. This event will be one of the last of the update 2.0, as it will be available on 20-30th August, 2021.
Ley Line Overflow
The other of the last featured events from this update involves a classic one, where players will be able to collect double rewards up to three times a day after completing the Blossom of Wealth or Blossom of Revelation and using your precious Original Resin.
This event has no restrictions to participate and will be active from 23rd to 30th August, 2021.
And that’s all we gotta share with you for today, so prepare yourself for this next cycle within Genshin Impact, as the update 2.0 continues its course in the nation of the Electro Archon, learning the secrets about its relentless ruler and her ambition for eternity.
