As per the in-game description, Mysterious Core is "taken from a mysterious machine. Although it appears to be a gear, it is, in fact, a gear-shaped core — very mysterious indeed." Mysterious Core 1 Location

Go to the location marked on the map above, and you will see a purple colored ball which is the Ousia block. Collect it and jump on the sky-blue-colored platform next to it. Hit the Enter button, and you will reach the platform above it. Attack the golden-colored machine, which is the Pneumousia Machine next to it, and enemies will spawn.

Defeat the enemies, and when you see the message "The Pneumousia energies are unbalanced, and must be rebalanced," collect the Pneuma block, which will be yellow in color, and hit the machine again. More enemies will spawn, and you will have to beat them again. You will see the message regarding energies being unbalanced again, so collect the Ousia block and hit the machine again, and you will get a Precious Chest that you can open to get the first Mysterious Core.

Mysterious Core 2 Location

Go to the location marked on the map below and attack the machine with the Ousia energy by collecting the Ousia block and beating the enemies. Repeat the process mentioned in collecting Mysterious Core 1 to get another Precious Chest that you can open to get the second Mysterious Core.

Mysterious Core 3 Location

Go to the location marked on the map below and follow the process mentioned in the above cases to get Precious Chest and hence, another Mysterious Core. However, this time, you will have to be quick while attacking the machine as the platforms will disappear at regular intervals.

Mysterious Core 4 Location

The location of the next Pneumousia Machine is marked below; however, this time, you need to go underwater in order to find it and get the next Mysterious Core.

Mysterious Core 5 Location

The next Mysterious Core will also be found underwater, and the location of its Pneumousia Machine has been marked below.

Mysterious Core 6 Location

Go to the location marked on the map above, and you will see Echoing Conch next to a fish. Activate it, and it will reveal three water rings. Go near all three of them, and you will get the option to dig next to one of them. Once you do, you will get your energy block to hit the Pneumousia Machine. Repeat the same process to find out the other two energy blocks.

Mysterious Core 7 Location

In this case, you will find the energy blocks in destructible rocks near to the Pneumousia Machine and to destroy them, take the energy of any Fontemer Aberrants around you and attack the rocks.
