Garena has announced the global launch of an improved version of their popular battle royale, Free Fire, with which players with high-end devices will be able to enjoy a renewed experience.
Free Fire MAX offers numerous advantages over the original game, bringing better graphics, new high-resolution textures, better FPS, and even better sound quality and smoother animations like zone effect and weapon functions.
As with its base version, Free Fire MAX continues to be free to play with different microtransactions to acquire diamond packs, cosmetic item packs, subscriptions and more.
However, all players from the original version will be able to jump into this premium experience without losing their progress, thanks to its Firelink technology, allowing users to log in with their same accounts to play Free Fire MAX and Free Fire without a problem.
This means that your collections and inventory will be saved in both applications, plus you can play all game modes together with Free Fire players, no matter which application they are using.
How to pre-register for its global release?
Until now, only players from Malaysia, Bolivia, and Vietnam have had the opportunity to experiment with this revamped version, so for many players around the world, it will be the first time they will be able to stand on this battlefield.
According to what was revealed by Garena, the pre-registration for Free Fire MAX will be available from August 29th for both Android and iOS devices, so below we will show you how to do it in both options:
- Open the Google Play Store or Apple App Store on your device and search for Free Fire MAX in the search bar.
- Note: The game will only appear if your device is compatible.
- Click on the "Pre-register" button.
- Once the closed beta is released in your region, you will have the option to install the game.
A global release date for Free Fire MAX hasn’t been revealed yet, however, all 64-bits devices with at least 2 GB RAM can run it smoothly. The game also demands at least 1.5 GB of free storage, so make sure you have space available for when the game is released.
