Free Fire OB28 update leaks: D-Bee character, Dr. Beanie pet, UZI, and more

Free Fire OB28 update will be releasing soon with brand new content in the game. The servers will be taken down for maintenance for a few hours before the patch rolls out, and players will be able to download the latest version of the game from the Google Play Store and App Store. 

As of now, Garena has not announced the official release date or features coming to Free Fire OB28 update; however, based on the leaks from Advance Server and multiple trusted sources, here is everything that you can expect to arrive in the next big update.

D-Bee Character

D-Bee is a music maker and street dancer who has a passive ability called ‘Bullet Beats’ to increase the movement speed and firing accuracy to a certain extent. The increase in these stats depends on the character level and will increase as the level increases:

• Level 1: When firing while moving, movement speed and accuracy increases by 35 percent

• Level 2: When firing while moving, movement speed and accuracy increases by 40 percent

• Level 3: When firing while moving, movement speed and accuracy  increases by 46 percent

• Level 4: When firing while moving, movement speed and accuracy increases by 53 percent

• Level 5: When firing while moving, movement speed and accuracy increases by 61 percent

• Level 6: When firing while moving, movement speed and accuracy increases by 70 percent

Dr. Beanie Pet

Dr. Beanie is the new pet that will be arriving in Free Fire OB28 update who insists everyone on calling him Dr., but he is not one though. His skill is to increase the movement speed to an extent when the player is in a crouch position, and the percentage of increase is as follows depending on its level:

• Level 1: When in a crouch position, movement speed increases by 30 percent.

• Level 2: When in a crouch position, movement speed increases by 40 percent.

• Level 3: When in a crouch position, movement speed increases by 60 percent.

UZI

UZI is an SMG and one of the first weapons to have a telescoping bolt design. The gun has a high firing rate and will help in knocking out the enemies in close distance.

Character Skill Changes

Garena has made changes to the stats of various characters’ skills, including Paloma, Laura, and Clu. Here is the list of changes made to the ability of each character:

Paloma

Paloma will be able to pick any kind of ammo.  (Picture: Garena)

• Earlier she could only pick up extra AR ammo; however, after the update, this restriction will be removed. 

Laura

The increase in accuracy has been decreased in the case of Laura. (Picture: Garena)

• The increase in accuracy while scoped in has been changed as follows:

  • Level 2: 14 to 13
  • Level 3: 18 to 17
  • Level 5: 26 to 28
  • Level 6: 30 to 35

Clu

Clu can now spot enemies at a farther distance. (Picture: Garena)

• The range to locate the enemies is increased:

  • Level 1: 30 to 50
  • Level 2: 35 to 55
  • Level 3: 40 to 60
  • Level 4: 30 to 60
  • Level 5: 45 to 65
  • Level 6: 50 to 70

New Lobby

Just like in every other update, the lobby will be redesigned, and as you can see in the image, it looks pretty realistic. The major highlight of this lobby is the Free Fire World Series Indonesia banner.

New Options

New Options will be added to the game. (Picture: Garena)

A brand new option, Grenade Slot, has been added, and players will be able to have an extra slot to place equipment there. In addition to this, players will be able to switch off the location of vending machines on the map and can find this option by clicking on the mini-map. After the release of the Free Fire OB28 update, players will also be able to switch between the Classic and Drag Run Mode.
