It's almost that time of year again. That time when we fork over £30 for the priviledge of a second job. But it is not just any job, its the dream job, the job that allows you to take your local club to through the divisions to the Champions League and beyond or go big from the jump and buy up every footballing superstar from around the globe for your own take on the Galácticos.
We are, of course, talking about Football Manager, and the 2022 edition is weeks from release and players can now jump into the beta.
Releasing on 9th November for PC, Xbox, and mobile devices, FM22 promises to spice up the experience and those eager to jump in can do so now.
So without further ado, let's get down to everything you need to know about the FM22 beta.
FM22 beta - schedule
The Football Manager 2022 beta is now available for both PC and Mac users.
The beta won't have an end date and will run all the way through to the release of the game. You will even be able to carry over save when the main game launches.
FM22 beta - how to access
The beta is open to those that pre-ordered the game via the Epic Games Store or Steam, it will feature the full game, although SI warns players that they may encounter bugs or glitches as they are still fine-tuning certain aspects of the game.
Purchases from Steam and Epic
If you have pre-ordered, quit Steam or the Epic Games launcher and re-open it, FM22 should be available for download.
Purchases from other digital retailers
For other retailers, SI mentions you should have been sent a code to your email. Once you confirm this step, follow the next ones:
- Launch the Steam client software and log into your Steam account or create a new, free account
- Click the Games Menu
- Choose Activate a Product on Steam
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation process
