FM22: Cheapest minimum fee release clause players

The beta testing period for Football Manager 2022 is now underway and gamers are anxiously awaiting the full release of the title. With only a few days still to go, the planning phase for Football Manager success is in full effect.

Early signings can make a huge difference in building the foundation of your club, and help set your team up for impressive seasons to come. There are a number of places to look when shopping for players, but there is often value in players with minimum fee release clauses in their contracts.

Here are the cheapest release clause players in FM22 to get your club up and running right away.

Cheapest minimum fee release clauses in FM22

This list will feature a subset of players at all position groups to give FM22 players multiple options. Remember, these are sorted as pertaining to affordability, and teams with larger transfer budgets won't necessarily need to look through the bargain bin.

Defenders

Jach is quite possibly the cheapest option in FM22 in terms of release clause defenders. He's still only 26 years old so he'll do fine to fill the void in your defence early doors. The fullbacks are a tad more expensive, but their youth suggests future sell-on value and you can certainly get a tune out of them in the meantime.

More ultra-affordable options, your club is likely to be Guardado or Kayal's final stop, but that's fine considering their low release prices. For more youthful options, look to Morita or Nicolas de la Cruz to run the middle of your park until you can upgrade the position further in a future transfer window.

Some attacking options available to be bought out of their current contracts at rather low prices, Falcao and Gómez are seasoned and proven goalscorers to lead your line. The young wingers are affordable as well, particularly Orellano, and at only 20 years old they should raise their respective price tags over time.
