Final Fantasy 14 Patch 6.5: How To Start New Main Scenario Quests

New content is on the way for Final Fantasy 14, thanks to the launch of Patch 6.5 — Growing Light. Aside from the usual bug fixes and system adjustments, there's plenty of in-game activities that have received an update, from new items to new dungeons. But to help get players on the road to new content, more Main Scenario Quests have been added.

As always, when undertaking these new quests there are things players will need to take into consideration. The first is ensuring you meet all of the requirements, and the second is knowing exactly where to pick these new quests up. Below, we'll go over everything you need to know in order to get started with Patch 6.5 content.

FF14 Patch 6.5 Growing Light: Where To Find New Main Scenario Quests

There are seven new Main Scenario Quests that have been added to Final Fantasy 14 as part of Patch 6.5 Growing Light. Naturally, Square Enix has only offered information on the first one in order to ensure players don't accidentally stumble upon spoilers. The first quest that players will be looking for is called "Seeking the Light." The subsequent six quests will be unlocked chronologically after you've completed "Seeking the Light."

To find this quest, head to Radz-at-Han on Thavnair. Here, you'll be looking for the character Varshahn. Need exact coordinates? Check: X:4.4 Y:9.8.

FF14 Patch 6.5 Growing Light: New Main Scenario Quest Requirements

It's important to note that not every player will be able to pick up these new Main Scenario Quests. First, you'll need to ensure you meet the following requirements:

• Be Level 90 (Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic)
• Complete Main Scenario Quest "The Dark Throne" 

This is an Endwalker expansion quest, so you'll need to have access to the Endwalker expansion content in order to complete these new quests.

Main Scenario Quests aren't the only new content arriving in 6.5. Players will also have access to new Side Quests and Custom Deliveries, so be sure to explore to get the absolute most out of this new patch.
