Final Fantasy 16 could be getting DLC according to a fresh interview with Naoki Yoshida.
While originally, Yoshida had stated that they weren't planning on releasing any DLC for Final Fantasy 16, the producer has now offered some interesting words in an interview with GamerBraves.
"We now understand we're getting feedback from players that have played the game, and lots of players want to see more, and we know that and understand that. For us, we're taking that and then thinking about our options moving forward, so hopefully, in the near future, we can have something that we give to you all."
Fans have been asking for DLC since they finished the game, with several players wondering if we might see Leviathan in a potential DLC chapter. The missing Eikon is referred to as the 'lost EIkon' in Final Fantasy 16 and is the only Eikon missing from the game. It's a glaring omission, especially since it's the only real element missing from the game, that of water.
There are also sections of the game that could be used as gap-filler in a potential DLC, with time-skips happening multiple times in the game that would allow for Yoshida and the team over at Creative Business Unit III to make DLC.
