FIFA 22 has many special and unique items for players to chase via Squad Building Challenges, with Showdown cards being no exception. In addition, these cards have a special property, as the players selected will get a +2 OVR to their stats if their team wins; however, in the case of a draw, both will be rewarded with a +1 OVR boost.
For the upcoming Showdown SBC, EA Sports has selected the match between Inter Milán and Atalanta, which is scheduled to be played on 16th January. The Nerazzurri are looking to maintain their strong pace en route to another Scudetto; meanwhile, La Dea wants three massive points to keep themselves in Champions League spots.
While Atalanta's representative is Luis Muriel, Inter Milán's pick for the Showdown SBC is Matteo Darmian. The veteran 32-year-old arguably makes the best out of a second chance to compete at the highest level following a dreadful four-year spell at Manchester United, failing to impress managers like José Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
So without further ado, here's everything you need to know about the Matteo Darmian Showdown SBC.
