FIFA 22 fans who have gotten early access to the game via EA Play have been enjoying the wonderful new features the football simulator features this time around.

On top of that, they're also discovering who's the best when it comes to bagging goals and securing them wins, whether in Ultimate Team or Career Mode. 

Finishing is one, if not the most, important aspect of the game. A reliable striker can save you from a tight spot and even net you wins when you least expected to.

Of course, there's more to being a good centre forward than just having good Finishing stats in FIFA 22, however, it's undeniable that a higher Finishing is something most people are looking for in their attacking players.

What does Finishing do?

Terminology in FIFA 22 can be tricky, how does Finishing work compared to Long Shots for instance? Well, the answer is simple, as Finishing directly affects the ability a player has to score a goal.

This directly impacts stats like Long Shots or Shot Power. For example, as weird as it may sound, a player with a high Long Shots stat but poor Finishing will have more trouble scoring goals from outside the box than one with a high Finishing but poor Long Shots stats.
