Which Leagues Are Getting A Team of the Season Release?
As has been the case for a few years now, each major European league will receive a Team of the Season promo, with a ‘minor’ league being released alongside at the same time.
As well as this, the promo will be kicked off with a Community TOTS, a team made up of the best performing players in the world that have at most received one real-life performance-related special card during FIFA 23. Expect to see stars such as Gabriel Jesus and Bernardo Silva be popular choices from this team. Then finally to close out the promo will be the Ultimate TOTS, a collection of the best cards released all in one team.

What Time Do TOTS Squads Release
Typically FIFA Team of the Season promos will release into packs on a Friday, normally at 1pm ET / 6pm BST on the day of release. This is the usual time we see most FIFA 23 promos start each week.
Will There Be A Team of the Season Swaps?
Yes, it’s just slightly different this time. Whereas for previous Swaps programmes players would earn tokens to exchange for rewards, this time around EA Sports have moved everything to the season rewards section.
Earning XP will move you up through the levels, with major rewards being available every 5 levels.
The major rewards available are as follows;
Level | XP Needed | Reward |
Level 5 | 4700 | TOTS Moments Giovanni Reyna OR Five 85+ Players Pack (untradeable) |
Level 10 |
12,600 |
TOTS Moments Dimitri Payet OR Ten 85+ Players Pack (untradeable) |
Level 15 | 26,600 |
TOTS Moments Moises Caicedo OR Fifteen 83+ Players Pack (untradeable) |
Level 20 | 43,600 |
FUT Birthday Icon Desailly OR 1 of 3 EFIGS TOTS Player Pick OR Twenty Five 84+ Players Pack |
Level 25 | 66,100 |
Flashback Jesus Navas OR Five 85+ Players Pack |
Level 30 | 100,000 | FUT Birthday Icon Wayne Rooney OR 1 of 5 90+ PL/La Liga/Ligue 1 TOTS Player Pick OR Thirty 84+ Players Pack |
How Will FUT Champs Work?
Players will have the opportunity to earn TOTS and TOTS Moments cards in FUT Champions, with the new promo cards being released in the form of red picks. The cards available will correspond to whichever TOTS is in packs during that weekend.
The other significant change to FUT Champions during the TOTS promo will be a change in timings.
FUT Champions will now start at 8pm BST on a Friday and end at 8am Wednesday, meaning it’s received a 48 hour extension for those struggling to play all 20 games within a couple of days.
What SBCs Will Be Available?
While you’re going to have to wait and see what EA releases specifically, it’s almost a guarantee that we’ll be seeing plenty of Squad Building Challenges, with the rewards being Flashback Players, Guaranteed Team of the Season players and TOTS Moments cards that celebrate a season-defining moment by a specific player.
