The footballing world is in turmoil at the moment, with Europe's most prestigious squads combining forces to create the European Super League (ESL), a separate competition independent from the government of the UEFA and its Champions League.
With fans, organizations, and other non-involved clubs arguing that the ESL would destroy the fairness of the game, allowing the already rich clubs to become even richer, it's speculated that, if they do go along with the formation of the Super League, teams like Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Manchester United will be disaffiliated from their local competitions and banned from UEFA ones.
Will the Super League affect FIFA 22?

In simple terms, yes. If UEFA and the local league of each of the squads involved in the creation of the European Super League decide to ban and disaffiliate all the teams in the ESL, that would mean EA Sports would lose the rights to all of them, as they are for the most part working with entities like the Premier League to get ahold of all the licenses, not with individual teams.
In the particular case of Juventus, for example, the team worked an exclusive deal with Konami and Pro Evolution Soccer, which is why EA can't use the crest and jersey, however, they can still use players' names and appearances due to negotiating the rights with Serie A, something icons like Zlatan Ibrahimovic have been critical about, as he feels the company has been making money at his or any other player's expense.
Will the Super League be in FIFA 22?
As we just established, EA Sports can negotiate with teams individually to get ahold of their rights, thus making them exclusive to FIFA games. The Juventus situation is a tricky one, as they have a deal in place already, but squads like Atlético Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City, and the rest of the founding ESL clubs could be open to the idea of coming to terms, especially if it means they can get a bigger cut of the pie now that there won't be a third party involved such as the Premier League, LaLiga, or Serie A.

The big money-making mode of FIFA would most likely be affected, simply because EA Sports might not get the rights to the teams in the ESL, but even if they did, the links between all these and players from the leagues they used to play could be broken.
On the other hand, being able to create a super squad with near-perfect chemistry would be a dream few could've thought of years ago, so it wouldn't all be doom and gloom for FUT fans.
