The 2020 European Championship competition is underway as we’ve now reached the knockout stages of the tournament. It’s been exciting as ever and EA Sports has been celebrating every step of the way with the exclusive Festival of FUTball promotion, now ongoing in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.
Festival of FUTball features SBC and Objectives challenges players available for unlocking seemingly every day, as well as official squads of FOF players. Festival of FUTball squad players are live, meaning subject to further upgrade based on team results in Euro 2020 competition.
Up next it’s the FIFA 21 Summer Stars event, highlighting some of the top players during the last month of play. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming FUT 21 promotion.

FIFA 21 Summer Stars - upcoming event info
The Summer Stars event will feature some of the most impressive players from the Euro 2020 Championship competition. There will be sizable upgrades given out based on these high-stakes performances, which should have a massive impact in the final months of the FUT 21 cycle.
Based on the live countdown in the FIFA 21 Ultimate Team loading screen, we can expect to see the Summer Stars promotion go live beginning Friday, 2nd July 2021 at 6 pm (BST). At this point, it’s unclear how long the Summer Stars event will run.
It’s also unclear how this event will factor in with the Festival of FUTball Path to Glory players, who are subject to upgrades based on team performance at Euro 2020. The period for team wins to upgrade Path to Glory cards runs from 11th June to 11th July.
