Disenchanted
It's been 15 years since the release of Enchanted, and its much-anticipated sequel, Disenchanted, sees Princess Giselle and her husband, Robert, growing tired of the city life. Following a big move to a suburban city for that "fairytale life," Giselle encounters new challenges, including the city's resident "Queen."
Using the magic of her home to accidentally transform the sleepy city into a real-world fairytale, Giselle puts herself and her family in grave danger. Now, she must do her best to reverse the spell as she finds the true meaning of what "happily ever after" is.
MUFASA: The Lion King
Director Barry Jenkins will bring to life the tale of one of Disney's most iconic villains, Mufasa, in an original film, MUFASA: The Lion King. Set before the events of The Lion King, the film will focus on the adolescent years of Mufasa, his rise within the clan, and ultimately becoming one of the greatest kings throughout the Pride Lands.

Mufasa isn't the only character from The Lion King appearing as audiences will be treated to appearances by Timon, Pumbaa, and Rafiki. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a while for this prequel film as it's scheduled for a 2024 release.
Snow White And The Little Mermaid
Two live-action adaptations of Disney Princess classics, Snow White and The Little Mermaid, were presented at the D23 Expo stage. Snow White will see Rachel Zegler (West Side Story) as the titular princess with Wonder Woman's Gal Gadot as the princess' Stepmother, while recording artist, Halle Bailey, will go "under the sea" as the red-haired princess Ariel.
The Little Mermaid is slated for a May 2023 release, and Snow White will arrive in theaters in 2024. In addition, both films' new trailers were unveiled, featuring fantastic music, gorgeous costumes, and reimagined worlds.
