Elden Ring has a huge community dedicated to both exploring everything the game offers and expanding it with creative mods. Recently, one modder added one of the most iconic hub areas from the Soulsborne series into Elden Ring, and we dive into the details below.

Modder Replaces Roundtable Hold with Majula from Dark Souls 2

Uploaded to Nexus Mods by user Dropoff, the Majula Hub mod for Elden Ring does exactly what you’d expect—it "replaces Roundtable Hold with Majula from Dark Souls 2." Known for its beauty, ambient music, and unforgettable atmosphere, Majula became one of the most praised locations when it first appeared in Dark Souls 2.

However, this isn’t just an aesthetic room to stroll around in. Dropoff has ported all quests, NPCs, and events from Roundtable Hold into the Majula setting. This means players can play through the entire game with Roundtable Hold now appearing as Majula, complete with active NPCs and questlines.

For those planning to use this mod on a New Game Plus playthrough, Dropoff has also shared a key detail: players must visit Victor’s Stone rather than a bonfire to start a new game cycle, so be sure to keep it in mind.

Despite the criticisms Dark Souls 2 has received, Majula is almost universally regarded as one of the best, if not the best, hub areas in the Soulsborne series. Having it available in Elden Ring is a real treat for fans. So, if you’re ready to return to this memorable location, give the Majula Hub mod a try the next time you boot up Elden Ring - and remember, Bearer, seek, seek, lest.
