As more and more players dive into College Football 25, one of the favorite modes is sure to be Road to Glory. This single player career mode experience allows you to take your player from freshman to Heisman hopeful, but there are a few different aspects of Road to Glory that aren't fully explained. We've got the answer if you're trying to figure out how to enable play selection in College Football 25.
How to Enable Play Selection in College Football 25
When you begin your College Football 25 Road to Glory journey, especially if you're a player fighting to even get onto the field, it's unlikely you'll have much chance to alter what your coaches and coordinators run each play. However, over time you will get the option of expanding those options just a bit.
You can enable play selection in College Football 25 by pressing Y (on Xbox) or Triangle (on PlayStation) during play selection in any Road to Glory game. Players who earn more Coach Trust will be able to do this far more frequently in a game, whereas those still trying to prove themselves may not be able to do it at all or may be restricted to only a few changes per game.
Unfortunately, coaches and coordinators aren't going to give even a star player full control of a playbook. Unlike the Superstar Mode in Madden that allows more flexible play selection, College Football 25 only offers you two extra play choices based on what your coordinators and coach have in mind for that situation.
Usually, one of those should fit better for your player. As seen above, the base play was a pass, but a running back with high Coach Trust can hit enable play selection and open up two running options instead. If you want full control, you'll have to head to Dynasty Mode instead. For players not wanting to bother with defense that still want offensive control, you might wanna try College Football 25 Dynasty Mode with Super Sim for any plays you don't want to run yourself.
