T1 has signed Anathan “ana” Pham and Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen, two popular Dota 2 players, right before the start of The International 11 Qualifiers. The Southeast Asia team has made headlines by signing the former OG stars.
T1 needed good mid and carry players after they parted ways with Karl “Karl” Baldovino and Kim “Gabbi” Santos about a week ago. T1 has had some decent performances in the calendar year, but they need improvements in a few areas to make themselves a solid contender going into TI11.
Ana And Topson’s Entry
Ana will play as a carry for T1. He brings the tremendous experience of playing and winning The International competition. The 22-year-old offers versatility in the safe lane role but excels in playing heroes like Ember Spirit, Phantom Lancer, and Spectre.
After announcing his retirement from Dota 2, Ana is yet to play any significant part in competitions. He was stand-in for Team Liquid at the Riyadh Masters 2022 and Royal Never Give Up at the Arlington Major.

Topson will carry out his duties in the middle lane. He has not played competitive Dota 2 since announcing his break in November 2021. However, the 24-year-old has been streaming Dota 2 content and growing his Twitch channel. He is known for unorthodox builds and aggressive plays as a mid-laner.
Unlike Ana, Topson has not joined T1 permanently. He will play as a stand-in for the Southeast Asia team. We will have to wait and see how things pan out for him at T1.
T1 In The International 11 SEA Qualifiers
Signing new players is just the start of things for T1. Dota 2 is a complicated game that needs extreme coordination to play at a high level. Both Ana and Topson will need to gel with the rest of T1’s roster.
T1 current Dota 2 roster for TI11 SEA qualifiers:
- Position 1 - Anathan “ana” Pham
- Position 2 - Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen
- Position 3 - Carlo “Kuku” Palad
