Dota 2 fans have no shortage of great pro tournaments to watch, and the latest event to get announced is the OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online Europe/CIS tournament.

About OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online Europe/CIS tournament
Ten of the best Dota 2 teams in Europe and CIS will compete in the AMD SAPPHIRE DOTA PIT Online EU/CIS Region tournament.
The tournament runs from 13th to 23rd May, where we will see teams fight it out for their share of the prize pool. The OGA Dota PIT 2020 was supposed to be a LAN event, and a Minor for the DPC season, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been changed to a regional, online format.

We've already seen some fantastic Dota in the Chinese regional tournament, and now, it is time for the Europe/CIS regional tournament to kick off.
Favourites going into the OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online Europe/CIS tournament include two-time TI winners OG, especially with Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen returning to Europe, and therefore, the active lineup. Then, we also have Virtus.Pro and Team Secret, both of which can easily take down the entire tournament, and have showcased some great form in recent online events.
The prize pool
There's a total prize pool of $150,000 to fight for in the OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online Europe/CIS tournament.
The prize pool distribution for the tournament is as follows:
- 1st place - $62,000
- 2nd place - $32,000
- 3rd place - $17,000
- 4th place - $12,000
- 5th and 6th place - $7,000
- 7th and 8th place - $5,000
- 9th and 10th place - $1,500
All teams in the tournament get a piece of the prize pool, with the winner receiving the lion's share.

Top tier Dota 2 teams from both the CIS and European regions will compete in the tournament. The groups have already been drawn. Check out the group stage placements below.

Four teams of each group will advance to the playoffs, while the bottom team in each group will be eliminated.

Format
Two groups of five teams each will fight it out in a single round-robin group stage format. The top four teams will advance to the playoffs, while the bottom teams will be eliminated, and pick up $1,500 for their trouble. All matches are best-of-three in the group stage.
The playoffs will feature a double-elimination bracket with the first round of matches determined by standings from the group stage. All matches are best-of-three, with the exception of best-of-five grand finals.
Schedule
The OGA Dota PIT Online Europe/CIS tournament takes place from 13th to 23rd May 2020.
Each day of the tournament starts at 10:00 GMT+1, with the last match taking place at 19:00 GMT+1.
At the time of writing, the full playoff schedule has not been revealed. However, we do have the schedule for the first day of the group stage matches to share.
