As Dota 2 esports fans get hyped for PGL Wallachia Season 1 to kick off on 10 May 2024, not everything is going as planned. Specifically, Tundra Esports has announced that they cannot attend the huge LAN event in Bucharest, Romania, due to an inability to secure visas in time for the event.

Update on 7 May 2024: Blacklist International also can't make PGL Wallachia S1 due to visa issues and has been replaced by the Chinese team Azure Ray.

To make matters worse, the next-in-line team, OG, also cannot attend the event. OG was the second-place finish at the Western Europe qualifier, so they were next in line. Thankfully, MOUZ, who managed a third-place finish, stepped up and will attend PGL Wallachia Season 1 to compete for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool from 10 to 19 May 2024.

Some fans were wondering why OG could not attend PGL Wallachia Season 1 since it is a significant tournament.

While one might think this was also visa-related, that's not the case, as OG explained their non-attendance to fans on Twitter (X).

MOUZ's Dota 2 roster:

  • Nikko "Force" Bilocura
  • Jonathan "Bengan" Hansson
  • Stefan "Ulnit" Gavrila
  • Ondřej "Supream^" Štarha
  • Ravdan "NARMAN" Narmandakh

This will be MOUZ's first big LAN event in Dota 2, and we are excited to see them perform! Yes, MOUZ is a clear underdog, but on LAN with a roaring crowd, anything can happen.
