The Dota 2 ESL One Stockholm Major was an exciting tournament with a perfect ending for OG. They defeated TSM in the Grand Finals of the competition after pushing through in the Lower Bracket.
The West European side had its fair share of issues before the Major. Their team’s captain Mikhail “Misha” Agatov and coach Evgenii “Chuvash” Makaro could not attend the event. Former members, Johan “N0tail” Sundstein and Sébastien “Ceb” Debs replaced them.
It was a wild but sensible move to include the successful veterans of the team joining the young talented members. The decision played out well for OG.
Dota 2 ESL One Stockholm Major Grand Final - OG vs TSM
The opening two matches of Dota 2 ESL One Stockholm Grand Finals were exciting to watch.
We saw TSM bag the first match after dominating with their Pangolier and Wraith King picks. It was a one-sided match and TSM looked very strong with their draft.

Things changed from the second match. TSM picked an Intelligence heavy lineup with squishy heroes, but OG had heroes like Night Stalker and Storm Spirit, who could jump and get on top of them. OG got a convincing victory against TSM, helping them regain their morale.
The third match was very competitive on both sides. It was a fierce fight which saw TSM in the lead during the early game, but OG turned the tables quickly in the mid to late phases of the match.
Once behind in net worth and score, it was difficult for TSM to come back in the match and they lost in just under 42 minutes.
The last match went in OG’s favour from the starting minutes. TSM were struggling to hold their own against the aggressive playstyle of OG and lost the game. OG won the series and the competition with a 3-1 score.
