As the first DPC season of 2021 is coming to an end, there's a brand-new Dota 2 tournament to get excited about. The BTS Pro Series Season 5 kicks off early in March, promising some great esports action from the North and South America scene. Teams & Format
A total of 16 teams will compete at the BTS Pro Series Season 5 tournament. These teams come from both North and South America.
So far, Beyond the Summit has announced 15 of the 16 teams competing. These invited teams are:

- The Cut
- Team Unknown

- SG e-sports

The BTS Pro Series Season 5 will feature both a group stage followed by a playoffs stage. At the time of writing, additional format details have not been revealed.
Prize pool
The 16 teams at BTS Pro Series Season 5 will fight it out for their share of the 40,000 USD prize pool.
The exact prize pool distribution is currently unknown but we expect the lion's share to go to the winner.
Schedule
The BTS Pro Series Season 5 Dota 2 tournament is scheduled to run from 2nd to 21st March 2021.
