One of the most exciting new ways to increase your character's power in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred and completely mix up a build is to create Runewords. It is an endgame progression system allowing players to combine a Ritual and an Invocation Rune to create a powerful effect and trigger, with its own unique Offering resource system.

Since the Diablo 4 Update 2.0 PTR, much has changed, and you'll still see many people sharing the old stats of Runes, old effects, and Offering costs. Blizzard even removed a handful of Runes completely, as they didn't make it into the Vessel of Hatred launch.
