Best Way To Clear Kor Dragan Stronghold In Diablo 4

The Kor Dragan Stronghold location is north of Kyovashad in Fractured Peaks. The fastest way to get there is by accessing the Menestad Waypoint in Sarkova Pass and then heading north until you reach the entrance of Kor Dragan to the west of the ruins.

It goes without saying that this area is teeming with several dangerous enemies, so it would be best to team up with friends before taking on this challenge. It's also home to The Gathering Legions event in Diablo 4, which you can learn more about in a separate guide.

Once you have located the Kor Dragan Stronghold, the next step is to explore the area until you find one of three Vampiric Incubators. However, be warned that you must take out various enemy mobs along the way. After finding the structure, your next objective is to "purge Kor Dragan of Vampiric Corruption," which is represented by gooey red blobs on the ground.

For every Vampiric Incubator, there are three Vampiric Corruption that you'll need to find and destroy. It's important to note that the Vampiric Incubators are immune to attacks, and you must first destroy all the Vampiric Corruption before you can damage them. Unfortunately, these corrupted nodes are scattered across Kor Dragan and guarded by various enemy mobs, making locating and destroying them all challenging.

However, to make it easier for you, we've included a map below that details the locations of all the Vampiric Corruption and Incubators in the Kor Dragan Stronghold (thanks for the help, Ben). This way, you can quickly navigate the area and focus on eliminating the Vampiric Corruption before taking on the Elite bosses that spawn out of them.

Speaking of which, after you destroy each Vampiric Incubator in the Kor Dragan Stronghold, you'll need to prepare to face off against the Elite boss that spawns. It's worth noting that you will fight three Elites in total, each guarding one Incubator. These beasts will be at least two levels above the Stronghold level, so if you're under-leveled, be prepared for a tough battle.

After clearing the Elites, you will be tasked to slay the remaining Sanguine Knights in the area and destroy the large Vampiric Aberration blob near the Cathedral. From there, head north of Kor Dragan to confront the final boss: Nilcar, the Forgotten Bishop.

How To Beat Nilcar, The Forgotten Bishop In Diablo 4

To be clear, defeating the final boss, Nilcar, the Forgotten Bishop, in the Kor Dragan Stronghold of Diablo 4 is no easy feat. Not only is there very little space to move around, but the boss also spawns various enemies to fight you, including Sanguine Adherent, Sanguine Inquisitor, and Sanguine Knight.

The latter of these spawns are particularly dangerous, so be ready to dodge and kite their attacks. Noteworthy, these enemies will spawn from out of the three Incubators surrounding Nilcar, but only after he loses a significant amount of HP. The introduction of these enemies dramatically complicates the fight, making it crucial to first take them out before focusing on the Kor Dragan Stronghold boss.

Additionally, be careful of the Hellbinder that spawns randomly, as it will stun you. Finally, watch out for Nilcar's Blood Barrage attack, which unleashes waves of blood, dealing great damage. Once Nilcar is defeated, you'll receive a ton of loot like Bone Charm, Fur-lined Pants, Highland Boots, and Basic Wand, some of which may include Legendary Aspects and Powers that you can extract.

In addition to these items, you will also be able to farm Gold and XP throughout the Stronghold, which will help you level up and progress through the game. In addition, completing the Kor Dragana Stronghold will reward you with 100 Renown points, which goes a long way toward boosting your character's power. Finally, after completing all the objectives of the Kor Dragan Stronghold, you can unlock a special world zone event in Diablo 4 called The Gathering Legions.
