Among these bosses lies Airidah, known as the Keeper of The Dead, a highly potent spellcaster who will push even the most seasoned players to the limits of their strength.

Where to Find Airidah Boss in Diablo 4

Upon reaching the "Apex of Misery" Main Quest in Act II of Diablo 4, your objective is to head north in the Wailing Hills area of Scosglen. Eventually, you will reach the top of the Windswept Trail, where you should engage in a conversation with Airidah, signaling the start of the boss fights.

How to Beat Airidah Boss in Diablo 4

In the fight against Airidah, you will have a reasonably spacious battlefield to maneuver, which is crucial to use when avoiding and surviving her attacks. Take note of Airidah's various attacks, which are described below:

1. Throughout the battle, Airidah will summon lightning strikes that rain down across the arena. By staying in motion and avoiding the circular AoE markers, you can easily evade these strikes.
2. It is advisable to keep a distance from Airidah as she will generate a small whirlwind around her body, which gradually grows and eventually explodes. If caught in the whirlwind, you will be pushed back and sustain some damage. As Airidah nears her demise, she will summon two to three whirlwinds simultaneously, increasing their area of effect.
3. When Airidah's health reaches specific thresholds, she will summon Wraiths that become tethered to her, rendering her invulnerable to your attacks. It is vital to swiftly eliminate these Wraiths using basic skills before you can resume damaging Airidah. As her health further diminishes, she will have four Wraiths tethered to her, necessitating the use of stronger single-target skills to dispatch them quickly.

As a general approach, during the initial phase of the battle, you should chase Airidah around the arena while evading lightning strikes. Retreat before she releases a small whirlwind. When you lower Airidah's health to the first threshold, she becomes invulnerable, requiring the destruction of nearby Wraiths she is linked to.

As the fight progresses and Airidah approaches death, she will continue using the same attacks—lightning strikes, whirlwinds, and Wraiths. As long as you stay mobile and avoid walking into the whirlwinds, you should be able to minimize damage taken, while successfully chipping away at her health until she is defeated.

What Loot does Airidah Boss Drop in Diablo 4?

After defeating Airidah, she reveals that she told Lilith how to break the wards keeping the demon Astaroth imprisoned. At the end of the conversation, she collapses by your feet and Apex of Misery concludes. You will then be rewarded with gold, at least 1 Rare gear item, and 1 Magic gear item, as well as 13,000 XP and 1,540 Gold for the completion of the quest.
