How To Farm Diablo 4 Abstruse Sigils

Abstruse Sigil is a rare crafting resource, as according to the items' in-game description, they are "Fragments from storied relics and talismans with truly unusual properties."

To get Abstruse Sigils in Diablo 4 is, however, not that unusual at all. You simply need to head to the Blacksmith in any town or outpost and salvage Legendary rings or amulets. To farm Abstruse Sigils quickly is, therefore, quite tricky.

We suggest running Nightmare Dungeons and doing Helltides for a lot of Legendary loot drops and hoping for rings/amulets you don't need. Further, you can do Grim Favors for the Tree of Whispers and select a Ring/Amulet Cache as a reward. That's the fastest way we've managed to get multiple Legendary pieces of jewelry to salvage for some Abstruse Sigils during our time with the launch version of Diablo 4.

How To Upgrade Legendary Jewelry in Diablo 4

The first thing you need to do to upgrade Legendary jewelry items is to unlock the Jeweler in Diablo 4 and head to one of the game's main towns to speak to the NPC. From here, select a ring or amulet you wish to upgrade.

Legendary and Unique items have four upgrade levels, compared to the three for Rare items. At Rank 4, you will require a tonne of crafting resources and Gold alongside two Abstruse Sigils. Check out the list of upgrading costs per Legendary jewelry rank below:

Rank 1 - x5 Iron Chunk and 6,750 Gold.
Rank 2 - x5 Iron Chunk, x4 Silver Ore, and 13,500 Gold.
Rank 3 -‍ x8 Iron Chunk, x6 Silver Ore, x3 Veiled Crystal, and 42,500 Gold.
Rank 4 - x12 Iron Chunk, x7 Silver Ore, x6 Veiled Crystal, x2 Abstruse Sigil, and 135,000 Gold.
