Get Fragment of Destruction in Diablo 3 Season 30
The Fragment of Destruction is a Prime Evil Soul Shard that fits into the helm gem slot only. It has a lore description reading:
When the Worldstone was destroyed at Arreat, the entropy of the Burning Hells became a part of the surrounding landscape.
You can farm the Fragment of Destruction in Diablo 3 Season 30 by killing any of the Act III bosses. You have a chance of getting both the Fragment of Destruction and the Stain of Sin on each Act III boss kill. In case you need a refresher, the Act III bosses are:
- Ghom
- Siegebreaker Assault Beast
- Cydaea
- Azmodan
You can also complete Greater Rifts for a chance at a Soul Shard drop, with the changes increasing significantly after Tier 75. While the Soul Shards can drop out in the world during any activity, the chances are quite low, especially if you want to target-farm a specific one, such as the Shard of Destruction.
Please note:You do not need to be level 70 to get a Fragment of Destruction drop. However, with increased Torment difficulty or higher Greater Rifts, your chances do increase significantly.
Diablo 3 Fragment of Destruction Stats & Powers
You'll find the official stats, powers, and effects for the Fragment of Destruction Soul Shard in Diablo 3 Season 30 below.
- Base Power: You move unhindered through enemies. Each enemy you pass through receives Mark of Destruction for 7 seconds. Each marked enemy that dies removes 1 second from one of your skills on cooldown. If the Mark of Destruction expires before the enemies die you lose 2% of your maximum health as damage. Marks are not applied if you are below 35% health.
- Additional Powers:
- You have a 25% Chance to restore 5% health when an enemy dies with Mark of Destruction active.
- When you apply Mark of Destruction to an enemy, you increase your movement speed by 5% for 7 seconds. Max 10 Stacks.
- You now leave a trail of fire in your wake that slays enemies with the Mark of Destruction and are below 10% health.
We believe Fragment of Destruction is one of the best Soul Shards for fast clears of high-level Greater Rifts since its powers help you stay alive, reduce your cooldowns, and even increase movement speed!
