The narrative in Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph is slowly but steadily coming to its conclusion as the Guardians continue to restore Warmind Rasputin and prepare to face the forces of the hive god of war, Xivu Arath.
Since it's the final season in year 5 of Destiny 2, Season of the Seraph is set to wrap up multiple story arcs and connect to the events that unfold in the upcoming Lightfall expansion.
Usually, these big commotions happen through climatic finale events, and Bungie just confirmed one for Season of the Seraph. Here's when the Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph finale event takes place and what fans can expect.
Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph finale event will begin in the second last week of this season, which means between 14th January 2023 and 21st January 2023.
The finale event consists of a new special finale quest and an activity. Players can expect this to be similar in length to last year's Exorcism mission at the end of Season of the Lost.
Unlike last year, however, it's not yet evident how the Season of the Seraph events would lay the foundation for the Lightfall expansion. Perhaps, this is why Bungie is holding this finale event over two weeks rather than one.
As mentioned above, it's not yet clear what the finale event will be about. However, it should reveal how the Guardians or (at least) Calus discover Neomuna and Cloud Striders.
Thankfully, players won't have to wait very long to find out for themselves, as the Season of the Seraph finale event and the launch of the Lightfall expansion is just a few weeks away.
