Destiny 2 Lightfall is all set to release on February 28, and the expansion is already available to preload. In the meantime, Bungie has also revealed some of the details about the most awaited event, and it is the Root of Nightmares raid. Here is when the raid will begin, its duration, and other details about it.
Destiny 2 Root of Nightmares Raid: Date, Time, & First Look
Bungie has announced via the official Destiny 2 Twitter handle that Root of Nightmares Raid will begin on March 10 at 9 AM PST. However, you need to keep in mind that you should own the Lightfall expansion to be able to participate in the raid.
In addition to this, Bungie has also expanded the duration of raid as Root of Nightmares will run for 48 hours unlike the previous raids that were available for 24 hours. As per the leaks from Ginsor, we will be boarding Witnesses' terraformed Pyramid ship in the raid, and the official tweet also says, "Ferried from an unknown time and place, a haunting presence has been detected. We must now confront the ancient threat growing at our doorstep."
You will be able to watch the World's first race on Twitch Rivals stream and earn rewards via Twitch Drops that include the "Dim Italics" emblem and "Particle Acceleration" emblem.
We should be getting more details from Bungie soon, and we will update this page once we have our hands on it.
