How to get Cоняшник Sunflower Ukraine emblem in Destiny 2

Players can sport their support for Ukraine with a brand-new emblem in Destiny 2.

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has driven many gaming companies to take a stance against the Russian occupation of their fellow European nation.

From EA Sports removing Russian teams and the national squad from FIFA 22 to Sony outright halting the shipment of PlayStation consoles, Bungie was one of the latest to join in solidarity.

Revealing that they'd stop monetising Destiny 2 in Russia, with existing players unable to complete purchases from this point forward was one of the things the former Halo developers revealed as measures.

On top of that and donating all initial proceedings from the Game2Give charity (over $120k during the first 48 hours), Bungie also made a free emblem available for players to grab on 10th March.

While initially unveiled on the 9th, Bungie finally gave information regarding the availability of the Ukraine-themed emblem in Destiny 2.

Featuring Ukraine's coat of arms and sunflowers, the nation's most predominant flower, the emblem is a nice cosmetic that can hopefully bring awareness to the ongoing Russian occupation.

Players only need to redeem a code that was displayed on the 10th March This Week at Bungie blog post.

Follow the steps down below to do so:

  • Copy the code JVG-VNT-GGG  go to the official Bungie Code Redemption website.
  • Login to your account and paste your code in the section.
  • Click on the Redeem button to claim your free reward.

Once you log back into the game, the emblem should be in your inventory.

It may seem like a useless gesture but we're happy to see game developers take a strong stance on issues involving things outside their comfort zone.

While Bungie may be far from perfect with its own share of controversies, they've been vocal in trying to raise awareness and helping spur necessary changes both in and out of the game's industry, and that's far more than we can say for other developers.
