How to get the G-Type Solar Emblem for free in Destiny 2

Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted continues as players venture once again into the Derelict Leviathan to bind nightmares and continue the Severe storyline.

With the Solar 3.0 update, it's no surprise that many players are testing the new solar skills and equipping the appropriate fragments to synergize their solar damage. If you're one of those players, you can snag the new G-Type Solar Emblem for free in Destiny 2. Here's our guide, which explains various steps to get this Emblem.

Steps to unlock the G-Type Solar Emblem in Destiny 2

If you're unaware, Bungie has a digital reward program that allows you to claim exclusive rewards for completing several in-game activities. These rewards range from Powerful Engrams, Glimmers, Upgrade Modules, Emblems, and more. The new G-Type Solar Emblem is part of Bungie's digital reward program.

To claim Bungie rewards, log in with the account you play Destiny 2. Before you can access these exclusive items, you will have to verify your email. Once you have done that, you can start claiming Bungie rewards.

To get this item, go to Bungie's official website and select the Reward tab. Here, select "Claim Digital Rewards" and scroll down until you find the Operation Caliente Solar Emblem. You will have to earn 7,777 Solar Final Blows anywhere on any of the planets in Destiny 2 to be eligible for this Solar Emblem.

 If you have been using the Solar subclass since the beginning of Season of the Haunted, chances is that you have already got over 7,777 Solar Final Blows without even trying. If not, you have until 17th August 2022 to complete this challenge and claim the emblem.

Once you have claimed it, check the flair section of your Collections for the new Solar Emblem.
