The Ex Diris is a new Arc Exotic Grenade Launcher in Destiny 2 Season of the Witch. Aside from its striking Hive-inspired appearance, Exi Diris also boasts unique perks that make it a one-of-a-kind exotic weapon. 

Like most seasonal exotics in Destiny 2, the Ex Diris also comes with a catalyst that makes it even more deadly. Here's our guide explaining how to get the Ex Diris catalyst in Destiny 2 Season of the Witch. 

How to Unlock the Ex Diris Catalyst in Destiny 2

You can get the Ex Diris Catalyst in Destiny 2 by completing the Grenade Logic exotic quest. Once you have the base weapon, talk to the Banshee-44 in the Tower to pick up the quest. 

As with any exotic quest, you have to complete a series of objectives to get the Exi Diris Catalyst, so get ready to grind. 

If you're curious, the Ex Diris Catalyst Exotic quest involves the following steps: 

  • Step 1: Recreate the Ex Diris catalyst by defeating multiple targets in rapid succession and defeating targets without dying. 
  • Step 2: Calibrate data and defeat targets while using Ex Diris. Calibration occurs when you complete Vanguard operations, Gambits, Crucible matches, or Seasonal playlist activities. 
  • Step 3: Return to Banshee-44 to collect the catalyst.

The Ex Diris Catalyst comes with the Berserk Rush perk. Having it will increase the rate at which this weapon becomes enraged while amplified. Additionally, final blows with this weapon will now make you amplified, so the weapon will constantly be enraged and have an increased fire rate in the process.
