Destiny 2 fans have been enjoying Season of the Lost for over a month now, unravelling key plot points that will lead players into the upcoming Witch Queen expansion, as well as earning new gear and weapons, including the exotic Stasis trace rifle Ager's Scepter.
With Halloween season upon us, Bungie has brought back the classic Festival of the Lost event, albeit with some interesting changes to spice up the experience on top of, quite frankly, the most interesting gear we've seen thus far.
There's plenty of stuff to sink our teeth in, so let's break down everything you need to know about Destiny 2's Festival of the Lost.
Festival of the Lost 2021 - Schedule
2021's Festival of the Lost will start on 12th October at the usual weekly reset time (10 am PT/6 pm GMT), and ending on 2nd November, giving Guardians three weeks to grind for all the gear and weapons they wish to acquire.
If you're a new Guardian that wants to get in the fun, there's only one requirement you need to complete -- Escape the Cosmodrome to unlock the Tower.
Festival of the Lost 2021 - Haunted Lost Sectors
Unlike previous years, Festival of the Lost will feature a new activity. We have a guide covering Haunted Lost Sectors, you can check it out right here.
"An Exo and a Vex Mind have merged to become something... new, a Guardian on Nessus is being hunted for their Ghost, and headless creatures prowl through the dark chasms of the Moon. Grab your favourite mask, join a fireteam, and embark on three new tales of terror."
As always, you can launch the activity from your directory by selecting the Tower or directly from the courtyard near Eva Leva
Festival of the Lost 2021 - Vendors
Eva Levante won't be the only vendor. While you'll be able to buy event bounties, masks, and other rewards with Candy, which can be earned by defeating enemies and completing activities with a mask equipped, a second vendor will show up -- the Book of the Forgotten.
"The Book of the Forgotten contains new lore, which can be purchased with Manifested Pages. Manifested Pages are created from Spectral Pages, which are earned in Haunted Lost Sectors, and are created by defeating Headless Ones in Haunted Lost Sectors. Manifested Pages can also be obtained from chests at the end of Haunted Lost Sectors," Bungie revealed.
Festival of the Lost 2021 - Rewards
