Demonologist: All New Ghosts

Demonologist's newest update during the Halloween 2023 season introduced not only a new map, but three new ghost types. These are the Wraith, the Yokai, and the Naamah; like all other ghosts in Demonologist, these three unique types have their own behaviors and evidence.

Here's everything we know so far about Demonologist's new ghosts added in the v.1.1.0 Halloween update and their behavior in the game.

Wraith

The Wraith's in-game description reads: "Wraith is known as a type of ghost that is very fond of its sleep. It doesn't like to be woken up. If you awaken a Wraith, you will have to suffer the consequences."

The Wraith is very likely to hunt while it's awake. You can awaken it by using the Spirit Box and talking to it, using your UV Light, and lighting a Candle. While they're more active when awake, Wraiths are not active at all when asleep, making them very predictable ghosts in Demonologist.

Yokai

The Yokai's in-game description reads: "It is known as a ghost that is extremely sensitive to the concept of time. It is very punctual, time is everything for it. When you encounter a Yokai, it may be your last time if you don't take the time into consideration."

The Yokai is active only during certain hours, owing to its good concept of time. It's active between 6-8 and 10-12, and during other hours, it'll be calmer. From 8-10, it'll only hunt.

Naamah

The Naamah's in-game description reads: "It is known to be a thief ghost. It has been observed that it behaves calmly to avoid attracting attention, and prefers to stay in the dark. It is seen that it relocates the tools."

The Naamah can steal tools you leave lying around, but if the lights are on, it'll turn them off before taking your things. This is a great way to identify a Naamah. Using a Salt Barrier will also prevent this ghost from taking your things.
