Dead by Daylight might see some new announcements at the Summer Game Fest 2023 on 8 June, it seems. Among the list of attendees that will be making announcements is Behaviour Interactive, the studio behind both Dead by Daylight and Meet Your Maker, according to a Tweet from Summer Game Fest listing the event's 40+ partners.

Behaviour Interactive's attendance at the Summer Game Fest could mean many different things for Dead by Daylight fans. Fans recently heard a lot of news about the game's future - including a Year 8 Roadmap, information about Chapter 28: End Transmission, and even the introduction of Nicolas Cage as a survivor - so it's exciting to hear that even more new content and leaks might be coming soon.
Behaviour Interactive also announced during the anniversary event that they partnered up with Supermassive Games and Midwinter Entertainment to create two new games in the Dead by Daylight universe. The two games, respectively, will be a single-player, decision-based experience, and a PVE game set in the Entity's Realm. Either of these upcoming titles could get a trailer or other updates at Summer Game Fest.
While we could very likely hear more info about Dead by Daylight or other games in the franchise, also possible that Behaviour Interactive's announcements at Summer Game Fest could be limited to their other projects.
While Behaviour is no doubt known most commonly for their iconic 4v1 asymmetrical game - which boasts over 35,000 average concurrent players just on Steam - they've also developed other titles like Meet Your Maker and Naughty Bear (whose eponymous protagonist is coming to the game as a skin with his own Mori in 2023). They're also the publisher behind Dead by Daylight's own dating sim, Hooked On You, which was released in 2022.
To add to that long list of potential games that might receive new info at Summer Game Fest 2023, Behaviour is also one of many partners working on Silent Hill: Ascension, which is slated to begin later this year, so it's possible that we could hear some updates regarding that title, too. In fact, none of the studios behind Silent Hill: Ascension have said anything about the game thus far despite the game's 2023 release date, so now would seem like the perfect time for them to give us some hints on what's to come.
Behaviour Interactive's appearance at Summer Game Fest could mean that some major announcements are coming for the studio's games, including Dead by Daylight. For now, we'll just have to sit back and wait until Summer Game Fest 2023 kicks off to see what Behaviour has in store for us this year.
