Dead by Daylight players are no strangers to reporting others in the game. Whether it's a serious issue like facing a DDoS attack, as streamer Otzdarva did, or something simpler like a rude end-game message, there are many reasons why one might need to report another player.
In the past, however, players received no feedback on their reports; they had to report the offender and hope that Behaviour Interactive would take action, hoping they wouldn't encounter the offending player again in-game.
Now, with the addition of report feedback, Dead by Daylight's team is introducing a feature that fans have long requested.
Nobody likes being left on read. This summer, we'll be adding feedback to your reports so you'll know when action has been taken. 📣 pic.twitter.com/qlJ3asfGs0

According to Behaviour Interactive during Dead by Daylight's 7th-anniversary stream, report feedback will be coming very soon.
"Let's be honest, there is not much visibility into the reporting process," Behaviour Interactive explained. "Soon, thanks to our upcoming player report feedback feature, we will let you know when an action has been taken against a player you reported," the game studio said.
So when exactly is report feedback coming to Dead by Daylight? The team didn't provide an exact date, but it's listed in the Year 8 Roadmap, so it's likely already in the works. We will endeavor to update you regarding any further developments.
