Dark and Darker Mobile has a beta test coming in August, following its original early access launch back in 2023 and open beta in Korea in April. Dark and Darker Mobile adapts the popular dark fantasy game into a mobile title, with some changes to its gameplay, graphics, and more suited for smartphones. The game's April open beta test in Korea drew in its max limit of 50,000 applicants, showing massive interest in the game.
The upcoming August beta test for Dark and Darker Mobile will be a closed global beta test, and will be available in the US, Japan, Turkey, and South Korea. During the beta window, players will have the opportunity to try the game out for themselves ahead of its release.
Sign-ups for the closed beta test aren't available quite yet, but will likely open up later this summer to give fans a bit of time to prepare for the August beta test. We don't know quite yet how many players will be accepted into the beta test, though it's very possible it'll be much lower than April's cap of 50,000, since this next beta test is a closed one.
Dark and Darker has a set release date of 2024, meaning that even if all players aren't able to try out the closed beta, it likely won't be long until the game is officially released (unless delays are announced). Back in April, developers unveiled the game's first gameplay trailer, giving fans a first look at the upcoming title.
