Dark and Darker Mobile Will Soft Launch in Canada this February

Dark and Darker Mobile is coming to devices in Canada starting with a 5 February soft launch. The game, developed by Bluehole Studio, has already captured attention with its previous global tests and its appearance at Gamescom 2024.

Currently in active development, Dark and Darker Mobile is being continuously refined based on player feedback from earlier tests. The soft launch in Canada is an important step toward fine-tuning the game before it expands to other regions throughout the first half of the year. 2025 is a big year for the Dark and Darker franchise, with not only the release of this title in Canada but eventually all around the world.

We hope the game’s unique features and newly updated content deliver an exciting and memorable experience for users," says Joonseok Ahn, Executive Producer at Bluehole Studio, which is overseeing the development of Dark and Darker Mobile.

One of the most notable changes in the mobile version include adjustments to the “Darkswarm” system and escape mechanics, aimed at enhancing the freedom and excitement of exploration. In addition, dungeon structures will be reworked to improve party play, making it easier and more enjoyable to collaborate with others. Class differentiation will also be refined with changes to basic attacks and combat mechanics, providing players with a broader range of strategies and experiences based on their chosen weapons and skills.
