Team Secret announces new CS:GO roster from m1x

After previously teasing their return with not-so-cryptic number sequences, Team Secret have confirmed they’re coming back into the CS: GO scene and revealed their new roster.

So who’s on the team? 19-year-old Polish player Filip “tudsoN” Tudev, is on the bill, alongside Guy “anarkez” Trachtman, 20, Dionis “sinnopsyy” Budeci, Flatron “juanflatroo” Halimi, and Rigon “rigoN” Gashi, 20, from Switzerland.

Speaking about joining Team Secret, sinnopsyy said: “I’m very excited joining Team Secret, it’s a great opportunity for us and a pleasure working with an organisation like Secret.

“We will work very hard to become a successful team. Thanks to team Secret for giving us the chance to prove ourselves.”

John Yao, CEO of Team Secret, said: ‘CS:GO is a title we’ve been exploring for the past 6 months, and we’re happy to announce an extremely promising young roster to end the year and kick off 2020.

“While only having spent a very short time together, this squad has shown the potential to become one of the greats on the scene, and we look forward to putting all of our organization’s resources around them in their development. I personally can’t wait to see us on the rise!”

Team Secret previously managed a womens’ CS:GO team from 2016 to 2017, with the organisation absent from the CS:GO scene since.

The acquisition of m1x could be a very smart move considering their impressive performance in ECS Season 8, defeating mousesports, Tricked, and holding their own against the likes of Astralis and NiP.

So could Team Secret build them into a tournament-winning force? We’ll have to see in 2020.
